- To make raw sugar, the juice from sugarcane is first extracted then concentrated after which the solution is crystallized
- Raw sugar is approximately 96-98% sucrose
- The nearly pure sugar crystal is covered by a thin film of molasses, which is then purified and the final product is our golden-brown raw sugar
- It can be used in tea and coffee and for baking as well.
